Last updated: July 14, 2026

These Terms of Service describe the general terms for using OXU Guard.

By accessing or using OXU Guard, users agree to use the product responsibly and in accordance with their organization’s policies, applicable agreements, and applicable laws.

1. Product overview

OXU Guard is an AI-assisted security monitoring product that helps organizations connect event sources, review detected fields, manage detection rules, monitor alerts, and configure response actions.

OXU Guard is intended to support security and IT teams in monitoring suspicious activity across connected systems.

2. Authorized use

Users may use OXU Guard only for authorized business, security, monitoring, and operational purposes.

Users must not use OXU Guard to:

  • Access systems or data without authorization.

  • Monitor users or systems in violation of applicable laws or internal policies.

  • Upload, send, or process data that the organization is not authorized to use.

  • Attempt to bypass access controls or security restrictions.

  • Misuse generated credentials, API keys, or integration secrets.

3. User accounts and access

Access to OXU Guard may depend on workspace membership, assigned role, and permission settings.

Users are responsible for:

  • Keeping their account secure.

  • Using only their assigned access.

  • Not sharing credentials or secrets.

  • Reporting suspected unauthorized access.

Administrators are responsible for assigning and maintaining appropriate permissions.

4. Data sources and event ingestion

Users may connect data sources that send events to OXU Guard.

The organization is responsible for ensuring that connected sources are authorized and that event data is sent in a valid and secure format.

OXU Guard may reject events that are invalid, unauthenticated, unsupported, or not associated with a valid source.

5. AI-suggested detections

OXU Guard may suggest detection rules using AI-assisted analysis.

AI-suggested rules are provided to help users identify potential detection opportunities. They are not automatically active unless the user reviews and accepts them.

Users are responsible for reviewing rule logic, severity, rationale, and impact before activation.

6. Alerts and response actions

When active rules match incoming events, OXU Guard may generate alerts.

Users may configure response actions, such as email notifications or other supported workflows.

Users are responsible for ensuring that response actions are configured correctly and sent to appropriate recipients.

OXU Guard may not guarantee that every alert represents a confirmed security incident.

7. Product availability and limitations

OXU Guard may depend on connected systems, event quality, integration configuration, network availability, and user-defined rules.

Product behavior may be affected by:

  • Missing or invalid event data.

  • Incorrect source configuration.

  • Expired or invalid credentials.

  • Incomplete schemas.

  • Disabled rules or response actions.

  • Changes in connected systems.

OXU Guard is a security monitoring aid and should be used together with appropriate operational, security, and incident response processes.

8. Customer responsibilities

Organizations and users are responsible for:

  • Connecting authorized sources.

  • Maintaining valid credentials.

  • Reviewing detected fields and schemas.

  • Reviewing AI-suggested rules before activation.

  • Monitoring alerts and response action outcomes.

  • Managing user permissions.

  • Complying with applicable laws, policies, and agreements.

9. Confidentiality and credentials

Users must protect confidential information, API keys, client secrets, integration tokens, and other credentials used with OXU Guard.

Credentials should not be shared publicly or stored in unsecured locations.

If a credential is suspected to be exposed, users should rotate or disable it as soon as possible.
